Job Description:

Smiths Group is in search of a committed and meticulous Storekeeper to join their team based in Dubai. The Storekeeper position entails a vital responsibility of examining goods, overseeing materials, and maintaining accurate records within our warehouse.

Your keen attention to detail, strong organizational abilities, and aptitude for teamwork will significantly contribute to the efficient functioning of our facility. Responsibilities:

1. Thoroughly examining incoming items for quantity and quality, comparing them against freight documents to ensure accuracy.
2. Efficiently organizing materials according to prescribed processes, ensuring proper storage and easy retrieval.
3. Safely operating warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, to facilitate the movement of materials.
4. Handling goods by receiving, issuing, shelving, picking, and dispatching them, maintaining an organized workflow and ensuring timely delivery.
5. Managing documentation and record-keeping by handling delivery documentation, preparing for delivery, and maintaining accurate records for the stores, including daily registers and stock lists.
6. Participating in physical inventories by counting stocks, conducting regular stock checks, and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and security in the warehouse.
7. Tracking materials by recording amounts received or distributed, completing internal forms, documents, or reports as instructed, and verifying the correctness of received material against invoices.
8. Preparing products by sorting and placing materials in their assigned bin locations, pulling parts for production shops, and accurately packing products to conform to work orders, finishing with appropriate packaging for shipment.

Experience & Skills:

1. To apply for storekeeper in Smiths Group your previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a technical or engineering industry will help.
2. Operating forklift experience with a valid UAE license is an added advantage.
